1. Who we are
GabEasy ("we", "us", "our") is a communication tool that helps users explain complex ideas simply. We operate at www.gabeasy.com.
2. What data we collect
- Account data — your name, email address, and profile picture, provided when you sign in with Google.
- Usage data — the topics and text you submit to generate results, and the results you save to your library.
- Billing data — if you subscribe to Pro, payment is handled by Stripe. We store only a subscription status and customer ID — never your card details.
- Usage counters — how many generations you've used this month, to enforce the free tier limit.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the GabEasy service
- To authenticate your account and manage your session
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To enforce usage limits on the free tier
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your saved library content for advertising.
4. Third-party services
- Anthropic — your text prompts are sent to Anthropic's API to generate results. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to billing data.
- Neon — your data is stored in a hosted PostgreSQL database provided by Neon.
- Vercel — the app is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure.
- Google OAuth — used for sign-in only. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or other Google data.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data and saved library items for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual saved items at any time from within the app. To request full account deletion, email us and we will remove all your data within 30 days.
6. Your rights
